By: HFES "We started this event three years ago with the idea of delivering fundamental learnings – oftentimes directly from those who started it all – to early career professionals, students, seasoned researchers or practitioners interested in fundamental concepts, recent developments and future initiatives through the eyes of experts in our profession," The event, designed to capture the contributions of pioneers and influential individuals, features three concurrent live 90-minute sessions (nine talks per day) that enable attendees to gain a deep appreciation and insights into important areas of HF/E. Each session is recorded and includes a 30-minute Q&A period. Attendees will receive complimentary access to all recordings for one year. Additionally, some panels are designed to honor the memory of individuals who have passed away. This year's Titans of HF/E will pay tribute to Raja Parasuraman, Jens Rasmussen, John Senders and Joel Warm for their remarkable contributions to human factors & cognitive neuroscience, system safety, safety & human error and perception & applied psychology. The HF/E Symposium is free for students, while members pay $75, and non-members pay $145. The event will deliver insights into important HF/E areas such as situation awareness, attention, decision-making, spinal ergonomics, human error, team cognition & interaction, automation, autonomous vehicles, telepresence, patient safety, macro-ergonomics, aging, inclusion, stress, human system interactions and team effectiveness. "These titans may be retiring or phasing out of their careers, making their presence at the symposium particularly valuable. Also, these sessions' learnings can easily be incorporated into teaching materials, and there is a substantial period after each session for discussion. We highly encourage everyone to register and not miss this opportunity," For more information about the Titans of HF/E Symposium, visit https://www.hfes.org/ End
