PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - Jan. 21, 2024 - PRLog -- Phnom Penh, Cambodia - The Cambodia Model United Nations (CMUN) which was founded by Mr. Fahed Sharaf and advised by his Father Mr. Rami Sharaf, is set to bring together aspiring young diplomats and future leaders from across the world for a transformative experience in diplomacy, negotiation, and global affairs. Mr. Fahed Sharaf is an Alumni of Northbridge International School of Cambodia, he has a very extensive experience in Model United Nations Conferences.

The flagship event is scheduled to take place on March 1st until March 3rd, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, it aims to provide a platform for participants to engage in meaningful discussions, simulate United Nations (UN) committees, and develop crucial skills necessary for effective International Cooperation with experienced organizers from many countries with expected participants to be joining from Cambodia and abroad. The Cambodia Model United Nations prestigious events will be a part of the ASEAN Sequels that will take place in each of the ASEAN Countries each year.

The Cambodia Model United Nations are seeking the support of the Ministries of Education, Youth, and Sports, and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, for The Cambodia Model United Nations to become a flagship event in Cambodia's educational landscape. The event will feature a diverse range of committees, each focusing on different global challenges such as climate change, human rights, peacekeeping, and sustainable development.

In addition to the committee sessions, the Cambodia Model United Nations will also host distinguished guest speakers, including diplomats, academics, and experts in various fields. These speakers will share their insights and experiences, providing valuable perspectives on global issues and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

The Cambodia Model United Nations will also attract foreign delegates and delegations which will have the opportunity to interact with the Cambodian Delegates, have the opportunity to visit iconic tourism and cultural destinations in Cambodia which is an Iconic Destination.

Registration for the Cambodia Model United Nations is now open to all interested applicants, from 7th Grade until 12th Grade and University students. All Schools and Universities in Cambodia and abroad are encouraged to send in their delegations.
