Various community leaders spoke on the occasion and talked about Zed's work around the globe. Zed thanked the community of Rohtak for the honor and love it bestowed upon him. Global religious statesman Rajan Zed, who is settled in USA, has taken-up interfaith, Hinduism, European Roma (Gypsies), other causes all over the world. He has read opening prayers in United States Senate and US House-of-Representatives in Washington DC; various State Senates, State Houses-of-Representatives, County Commissions, City Councils all-over USA; covering 299 legislative bodies in 44 states. He was invited by President of European Parliament in Brussels (Belgium) for a one-on-one meeting to discuss Hindu issues and promote interfaith dialogue. He has been conferred with "World Interfaith Leader Award". He is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, Senior Fellow and Religious Advisor to Foundation for Religious Diplomacy, on Advisory Board of Interfaith Peace Project, Interfaith Relations Officer of Nevada Interfaith Association, etc. He has been panelist for "On Faith", prestigious interactive conversation on religion produced by The Washington Post; and produces weekly interfaith panel "Faith Forum" in a Gannett newspaper, which brings various religions/denominations together, since February 2011. He has been invited and participated in World Economic Forum and has had dialogue with leaders of diverse religions and non-believers worldwide.
