HOUSTON - Jan. 25, 2024 - PRLog -- Port Houston has selected Colliers in Houston as their representative for two strategic properties located along the nation's number one waterway, the Houston Ship Channel in a renewed effort to accelerate real estate development. The two properties are Turning Basin Terminal and Greens Bayou. Turning Basin is an improved 72-acre site and Greens Bayou is a 390-acre unimproved site with access from Penn City Road.

This collaboration signals a new chapter in Port Houston's commitment to creating value from its properties and continued efforts to serve as a catalyst for economic prosperity, both locally and on the global stage. Leading this initiative are Port Houston's John Moseley, Chief Commercial Officer, along with William Fehmer, Real Estate Director, and Jim Vo, Real Estate Manager, working collaboratively with Mike Taetz and Judy Beebe of Colliers.

"Colliers is honored to be chosen as Port Houston's representative for this landmark venture. Our firm was founded in 1957 working on industrial real estate along the Houston Ship Channel, and we have a long history of working with Port Houston. So we are excited to leverage our experience and resources with the Port Houston team and focus on these unique properties," said Mike Taetz, Principal and Director of Colliers.
