IISE announces leadership election resultsThe newly elected positions on the 14-person Board of Trustees are:
"Having served on the Board of Trustees, I know the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for IISE," stated Heragu pre-election. "I will be focused on three goals: enhancing our profession's visibility to the broader society, domestically and internationally; Two posts were filled on the Technical Operations Board. Technical vice presidents are: Guiping Hu, Professor and Head Donald & Cathey Humphreys Chair, School of Industrial Engineering and Management, Oklahoma State University, and Brian Smith, Associate Professor, Undergraduate Coordinator, Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mississippi State University. Regional vice presidents were chosen for the following areas: South Central – Chris Tonn and North Central – Kathryn Eckhardt. New officers are elected by IISE professional members and serve three-year terms beginning April 1.
