The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company presents 'The Captiva Island Historical Society Speaker Series'

SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla. - Feb. 5, 2024 - PRLog -- The popular Captiva Island Historical Society Speaker Series, presented by The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company, is coming down the homestretch of its 2023-24 season.

The eight-part educational series began in November and runs through March. Each lecture shares a bit of history of Captiva Island from those who know it best.

The four remaining lectures include:

• Wednesday, Feb. 7: Captiva's Historic Cemetery: Past, Present and Future
• Tuesday, Feb. 13: The Spirit Behind the Spirit of St. Louis featuring author Ben Barrett
• Wednesday, March 6: From Laughter to Legacy: Captiva's Jensen Family Documentary Premiere
• Wednesday, March 20: Celebrating Women's History Month
