AGIA Announces Support for Neurodiversity

SAN ANTONIO - Feb. 14, 2024 - PRLog -- AGIA Affinity has announced that it will be endorsing the groundbreaking Independence Hub in advocating for inclusion of Neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, PTSD) professionals in the Insurance Industry.

The Independence Hub will be taking its advocacy on the road for the 2024 nationwide Roadshow to help raise awareness of the importance of neurodiversity in Insurance.  Over 20 stops will be made on the road with attendance at major insurance industry and Insurtech conventions and conferences.  Activities will include:

• Targeting Leadership to spread awareness about the need for neurodivergent professionals as valued talent in all levels of insurance jobs.
• Documenting personal stories from neurodivergent insurance professionals
• Offering Basic Neurodivergent information and education
• The Independence Hub will be actively signing individuals up for the first ever neurodivergent trade association (NTA).

Additionally, Matt Bishop, CEO and President of AGIA Affinity will form an advisory board of insurance leaders and will serve as its President.  The advisory board will be responsible for spreading the word about Neurodivergent  talent.  He states:

"Someone you know is Neurodivergent.  We want to help them get the right job for their brain before they leave the insurance industry.  Other industries are actively recruiting the neurodivergent talent that the insurance industry depends on, and we want to harness and encourage this talent in our industry now.  Neurodiversity is not an entitlement.  It is good business."
