Albany Patroons Training Camp Set To Begin This Monday, February 19th

ALBANY, N.Y. - Feb. 16, 2024 - PRLog -- The Albany Patroons Season opens with back to back games at the historic Washington Avenue Armory.  Training camp begins this coming Monday and Head Coach Derrick Rowland says this year's roster has the potential to be one of the most powerful teams he's ever coached. "We have six returning players from last season, which is very rare at this level. Player familiarity with each other and with our system certainly gives us an early season advantage."

Players from across the country begin arriving in Albany over the weekend and will report to training camp at the Armory, the morning of Monday, February 19th. The Patroons final roster submission is due to The Basketball League before midnight on Thursday, February 22nd.

Although Coach Rowland has spent the past 6 months scouting and signing players, he says there are still key decisions to be made in regards to the final roster. "This season's training camp will be very competitive. With returning players and new signings, players will most certainly have to perform at their highest level during training camp to be considered."

Fans still have the opportunity from now until game 1 tip-off on March 1st to purchase adult general admission season tickets for just $99. Season tickets for 12 regular season home games are available at patroonsbasketball.com.
