National Maritime Awards Dinner - 18 April 2024

WASHINGTON - March 4, 2024 - PRLog -- The National Maritime Historical Society is proud to honor former US Marine aviator, astronaut and NASA Administrator Major General Charles F. Bolden Jr., USMC (Ret.); author, historian and former director of the Naval Historical Center, Dr. William Dudley; and National Sailing Hall of Fame and America's Cup Hall of Fame sailor, mentor, trainer and educator Dawn Riley. The gala will be held at the National Press Club on Thursday, 18 April 2024. Presentations will be made by Admiral Michael G. Mullen, USN (Ret.), 17th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dr. Jennifer London, Chair of the Navy League Foundation Board of Directors and Gary Jobson, America's Ambassador of Yachting. Recipients will be featured in videos produced by award-winning documentarian Richardo Lopes and Voyage Digital Media. The NMHS Maritime Art Gallery, hosted by acclaimed marine artist Patrick O'Brien, will showcase various marine art for sale.

The National Maritime Awards Dinner draws together distinguished leaders from across the country.  It will be a wonderful evening uniting all those who love the sea to honor those who serve it.
