Florida International Training Institute Launches Behavioral Mental Health Technician Certification

The program, approved by the Florida Certification Board, offers students an in-depth overview of various mental health disorders, substance abuse identification and treatment, basic pharmacology, and effective treatment planning techniques. Taught by a licensed master psychologist, the course incorporates a combination of lectures, role play activities, computer-assisted instructions, simulations, and research projects to ensure a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
