The American workforce is comprised of 37% Asian, Black, or Hispanic/ Latino with 47% of that total being women. The study highlights the need for diversity to be more free-flowing into leadership positions. Most people who get hired by an organization at the executive level already knew someone at the organization where they were hired." The Harvard study found that Corporate America C-suites are still disproportionately white and male dominant with Women, Black, and Hispanic/Latino executives under-represented among most C-suite positions.
