RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. - April 3, 2024 - PRLog -- This fifth ever 100 Films Retreat is right now in the process of Officially Selecting films and/or videos from 100 different countries.

As of today's date, only 7 of those 100 countries that will be Officially Selected for the mid-May artist sharings have already been identified: Chile's "The Slaughterhaus" by Gonzalo Sepulveda, China & the United Arab Emirates' "ReMember" by Better (Shanghao) Hao, France's "Photos" by Antoine Sextier, India's "Kannu" by Sanjay Sanwal, Taiwan & China's "Silicon Era" by YueYang Chen and Iran's "Hapless Revenge".

Plus the United States of America will be represented during the 100 #5 May 23rd Grand Opening by outside-of-competition African American Drama Company Phillip E Walker Acting Retrospective Series productions: the 29th John Michael Elfers memorial screening of "Sweetest Vacation" and above mentioned full-cast staged-reading of the original Juneteenth depicting "Revenge of the Hapless" Screenplay written by Sasan Golfar, while the final film that will appear at the fifth 100 Films Retreat will be the fourth ever screening of the 2023 Rancho Cucamonga 48 Hour Film Project's "On The Rocks" horror micro short film written by Su Jan Chase and Director Rogelio Mosqueda.

This means that the 100 Films Retreat advantage for Worldwide filmmakers or video content creators is that their under 15 minute in length film or video from any country other than the above has a great chance of being at least Officially Selected, if submitted NOW through https://filmfreeway.com/FilmsRetreat!

Additionally, displaying in outside-of-competition sound muted loops during RECEPTIONS, along with in-competition 100 Films Retreat #5 COMMERCIALS, will be the "Courteney Cox on Instagram" video collage which includes the EJ Gallo Wine Clos du Bois 95th Academy Award® televised ceremony launched commercial spot "Long Live", plus in those California Wine Tasting RECEPTION video loops will be the unique distribution of Vahan Bedelian's wildly successful Chaplinesque one-man-movie "WineGame".

Since USA productions are also right now being solicited for August 15-18, 2024100 Films Retreat #6 participation, two California films have already been Officially Selected for that quarterly session: "Soul" by I-Jien Jane Kou and "Alien Messengers" by Gaurav Rajen.

As well, Da BlueIsle's "Soul" and "Halloween" plus Walker Entertainer Academy's "Hapless Revenge" have been Officially Selected to have a September 2024 Academy Award® Nomination Qualifying Standard Theatrical Run in Beverly Hills, California USA.
