Students of CIMAGE Group Developed a Mobile App for Patliputra University

PATNA, India - April 8, 2024 - PRLog -- The Final year students of B.C.A. and B.Sc-IT Course from CIMAGE Group showcased their technical skills in computer programming, coding, and App development to Professor R.K. Singh, the Vice-Chancellor of Patliputra University. Impressed by the students' abilities, the Vice-Chancellor examined their app attentively, interacted with the students to gain insights into the intricacies of the App they had developed, and provided suggestions for its enhancement.

On this occasion, the Director of CIMAGE Group Neeraj Agrawal, Megha Agrawal, Dean Professor Neeraj Poddar, and Department Head (IT) Amit Shukla along with the 3 teams of students reached Patliputra university to demonstrate the apps they had created.

The students of CIMAGE Group had included several advanced features in the app developed for Patliputra University. The app featured facial recognition and facilitated the integration of colleges operating under the university. It also provided the functionality to record and maintain enquiries and registrations of new students. Moreover, it incorporated a dynamic notification system for instant message delivery to all users.

The App was developed using Android technology, employing Java programming language for coding and MySQL for backend data storage.
The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the App and advised the students to incorporate geo-facing technology for attendance during classes. He suggested maintaining an attendance matching percentage of 85% using facial recognition for marking attendance.

Additionally, he advised students to prepare the app considering the challenges of handling large datasets. He also encouraged senior students to include some junior students in their teams to provide them with the opportunity to learn something new. The students earnestly listened to the Vice-Chancellor's advice and promised to incorporate these technologies into their app.
