WHO ARE KIKI?!

KIKI (輝&輝) - Established in 2008 by Hikari Shirafuji and Kanami Takeda, an authentic Tsugaru Shamisen duo. Both have won national competitions and are a popular female Tsugaru Shamisen unit globally. KIKI specializes in incorporating various music genres into traditional Tsugaru Shamisen folk songs, and original compositions showcasing the Shamisen's unique techniques.

Hikari Shirafuji (白藤ひかり):

Winner of the Tsugaru Shamisen National Competition - Japan's Championship Division (2019) etc.

Kanami Takeda (武田佳泉):

Winner of the Tsugaru Shamisen National Competition - Women's Division (2007) etc.
