Stevens Construction celebrates topping off of The Pickleball Club

LADY LAKE, Fla. - April 26, 2024 - PRLog -- Stevens Construction Inc. and The Pickleball Club are celebrating the halfway milestone in the construction of The Pickleball Club, LLC, located at 11826 NE 62^nd Terrace, announced Michael Waskiewicz, vice president.

The Pickleball Club is a 40,000-square-foot, two-story fitness complex that will feature 16 indoor, championship-grade pickleball courts, café, pro shop, locker rooms and lounge. The second-floor mezzanine will house a bar, lounge, and provide a viewing area to the courts below.  The second floor will also have offices, conference rooms and storage. Additionally, The Pickleball Club will include two outdoor pickleball courts and two bocce ball courts with canopy shades offering protection from the Florida elements.

Construction began in November and is slated for completion in late 2024.

Stevens Construction has multiple locations of The Pickleball Club in various stages of construction and development, including a 33,293-square-foot facility in Port St. Lucie completing construction in spring 2024.

The construction team includes Superintendent Tim McGlade, Project Manager Matt Jerrells, Project Executive Michael Waskiewicz and Project Administrator Corrie Cochran. Studio AD is the architect of record.
