April is the Month of the Military Child

We honor the sacrifices of the 1.6 million military children and are here to support them

Little Rock, Arkansas, April 15, 2024– Pinnacle Pointe Hospital is a 127 bed licensed facility that has served this community for over 30 years, observes April as the Month of the Military Child. Children of military

service members from all branches must deal with their parent's deployments and separations, frequent moves and even the trauma their parents may experience as part of military service.

On average, military families move every two to three years and military children change schools an average of six to nine times from kindergarten through graduation. This year an estimated 30% will move to a new installation.

There are more than 1.6 million military children who face these challenges.
