North Fort Myers Community Resource Event

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - May 3, 2024 - PRLog -- Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida (SWFL) hosts a large Community Resource Event on Thursday, May 9th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Shore Alliance Church at 330 W. Marianna Ave in North Fort Myers. This event offers participants an opportunity to meet with many resource agencies face-to-face, learn about resources, and have their resumes reviewed. More than 50 vendors are attending providing resources.

"We are excited to be partnering with North Shore Alliance Church, Senior Helpers, and Lee Tran to have the largest Community Resource Fair in the area this year, states Tim Goodman, Goodwill SWFL Employer Relations Specialist.

The event is free and open to the public. Tables will be set up specifically for veterans and people experiencing homelessness to provide assistance and information. Giveaways will be available while supplies last.

"We feel that all segments of society will benefit, as there will be a wide variety of services represented, such as employment assistance, free resume reviews, free haircuts, health services, transportation assistance, assistance for seniors, DMV assistance, and expungement & seal information, along with educational resources," explains Goodman.
