Follow on Google News | The Shape of Water Restaurant Opens as Special Event VenueBy: The Shape of Water Restaurant Crafted from the ground up by owner Brent Bruns and artist Jennifer Butler, The Shape of Water Restaurant has been a labor of love, taking over !,000 bags of concrete hand mixed, as well as hundreds of cubic yards of trucked in concrete, and 50,000+ hours of hand-built artistry to create. The venue features remarkable structures, including the iconic "The Bleeding-Heart Bridge" and realistic faux bois and faux roche' elements, all designed to transport guests into a world of enchantment. Diners will be surrounded by water structures, including hundreds of feet of rivers, caves, a fire raintree you walk through, and over an 8 ft whirlpool, 21 waterfalls and floating mountains. "In the words of Nelson Mandela 'it seems impossible until it's done'," said proprietor Brent Bruns. "It's been 7 years in the making and we are excited to launch the first phase of The Shape of Water Restaurant - we are now accepting bookings for special events," Brent added. The venue welcomed its first private event last month; the Saint Augustine Camera Club, the Flagler Beach Photography Club, the Krewe of the 13, and the Bohemian Soul Sisters gypsy dancers group joined together for a sunset social. Guests can choose from three picturesque outdoor areas: the intimate Lower Level Covered Cave Dining area (28-32 guests), the serene Upper Level Outside Cave Dining area (25+ guests), and the spacious North and South Garden Outside Courtyard Dining areas, which can accommodate over 100 guests depending on arrangements. While the full-service restaurant is gearing up for its grand opening, event planners can currently rent the space, bringing their own food, beverages, entertainment, and event insurance. Essential amenities such as tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and silverware are available in the Lower Level cave dining area and only tables and chairs in all other areas. All events are to be limited to four hours and must conclude by 10:00 PM. The waterfalls and lighting will be turned on to enhance the magical atmosphere of the event. The Shape of Water is located at 5047 N. Oceanshore Dr, Palm Coast, FL, 32137. They can be found online at https://theshapeofwaterrestaurant.com/ End
