JW Marriott Chicago Unveils Reimagined Event Space

The 610-room full-service hotel located 151 Adams Street is owned by Rialto Capital Advisers and managed by Marriott International, Inc. The renovation project was managed by H-CPM of West Caldwell, NJ and the general contractor was Bulley & Andrews of Chicago, IL. Whitespace Interiors of Chicago, IL, was responsible for the new concept and context of the makeover.

Centrally located on Chicago's famous Loop and 18 miles from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, the 12-story hotel offers guests convenient access to Union Station, Chicago Theatre, the Art Institute of Chicago, Willis Tower, Millennium Park, Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium and Soldier Field. HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE

Nestled in the heart of the financial district, the JW Marriott Chicago typifies the diverse and architectural history that the city of Chicago is known for. Established in 1914, the majestic building showcases the architectural imprint of Chicago's Daniel Burnham. Renowned as the Director of Works for the 1892 – 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, famously dubbed "The White City," Burnham's legacy lives on in the JW Marriott Chicago hotel. It can be portioned into three separate rooms, offering the ease and convenience of achieving the guest's desired vision. The Burnham Ballroom, named for the architect of the building, offers graceful arched ceilings, sparkling chandeliers and golden hues to evoke Europe's most magnificent galleries. The JW Marriott Chicago also offers 37 distinct breakout rooms, these captivating spaces provide an inspirational environment capable of accommodating 400 people.
