MINNEAPOLIS - May 22, 2024 - PRLog -- Petitioner is now 41 years old.  He is married.  He and his wife just had a baby.  Petitioner grew up in Carver County.  He obtained his GED when he was in his 20s.  He has obtained some higher education at a Technical College.  He has obtained his EPA Certificate, and a Certified Pool Operator's License.  Currently, Petitioner is gainfully employed with a property management company for apartment complexes.  He is a Supervisor of Maintenance.  He maintains everything, such as the buildings, air conditioning, plumbing, electricity, etc.  He has been doing maintenance successfully for over 10 years.  He does not use illegal drugs.  He has never had any drug or alcohol treatment.  He has never had any mental health hospitalization or commitment, nor diagnosis.

As a child, Petitioner's parents divorced, and he was placed with his mother.  His mother had serious issues with drug addiction.  His early childhood was tumultuous.  He attended approximately 13 different schools.  Petitioner's disqualifying offense is from when he was about 12 years old, a young child, and involved unlawful sexual relations.   When he was 13, he was placed with his father, and his life became stable.  Finding good cause for restoration of Petitioner's Second Amendment rights, the Court, The Honorable Michael D. Wentzell presiding, granted Petitioner's Petition.  Well done Ms. Torgerson.
