CONNAUGHT PLACE, India - May 27, 2024 - PRLog -- Zafar A. Ali a distinguished tea planter, adventurer, and entrepreneur, is thrilled to announce the release of his captivating autobiography, "60 Not Out - An Autobiography." This compelling narrative takes readers on an extraordinary journey through six decades of an eventful life filled with resilience, innovation, and remarkable adventures.

Born on June 1, 1960, in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Zafar A. Ali spent his formative years in the serene hills of Mt. Abu, Rajasthan, at St. Mary's School. It was during this time that he was selected for the under nineteen Indian cricket team from Rajasthan, marking the beginning of an adventurous and multifaceted life.

From 1975 to 1982, Zafar A. Ali pursued his education at St. Edmond's School and College in Shillong, followed by post-graduation studies at NEHU University, Shillong. His professional journey began as a tea planter with Goodricke Group Ltd, where he served from 1983 to 2004. Here, he discovered a revolutionary process to revive 150-year-old China tea bushes, a method that has the potential to rejuvenate vineyards in France and pepper vines, among other crops.

An avid aero sports enthusiast, Zafar A. Ali delved into parasailing, hang gliding, and even piloted a Cessna 172 aircraft. However, his life took a dramatic turn when he survived a harrowing assassination attempt on the tea estate. This near-death experience did not deter him but rather strengthened his resolve.

In 2004, Zafar A. Ali transitioned to philanthropy as the Managing Trustee for the Dipin Foundation, a British charity registered in Mumbai. The foundation's outstanding work earned recognition from Mrs. Cherie Blair, leading to a reception at 10 Downing Street, London.

Since 2006, he has served as the Managing Director for two UK-based offshore companies, Indaco and Amaranth, building them from the ground up. Returning to his ancestral roots, he established a state-of-the-art bottled water factory in Aghiyari village, Ayodhya district. This modern facility, built on family land held for over ten centuries, aims to provide pure, pristine water to the devotees visiting the "Ram Mandir."

"60 Not Out - An Autobiography" is not just a memoir; it is a testament to Zafar A. Ali's relentless pursuit of excellence, unwavering dedication to innovation, and unyielding spirit in the face of adversity. This autobiography is a must-read for anyone seeking inspiration from a life lived with purpose and passion.
