Dexter Summer Festival (AKA: Dexter Daze)
People gather in the charming downtown area of Dexter for their celebration of the summer! Check it out and enjoy music on the pavilion, a Saturday morning parade, delicious snacks from food trucks, children's entertainment, artist booths and a fireworks show at night to top it all off.

UM Botanical Gardens
The Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum is made up of unique outdoor gardens, three miles of scenic outdoor trails and an indoor multi-climate conservatory.
This is a great educational activity kids will love, and it can also be a romantic and photogenic spot for a date night! It's open every day from sunrise to sunset, and admission is free.
