Pirate Preacher Leads Mutiny Against Devil : Crew Sets Sail for Holy Waters

PIRATE COVE, TORTUGA, Haiti - June 7, 2024 - PRLog -- The Pirate Preacher stands before his crew, holding up a weathered Bible. "Listen up, ye scallywags. We 'ave a letter from Jude, the brother of Jesus. He warn us that thar be certain sensual men among us, twisting Skipper's grace inter a license ter frolic about in port with winches and reprobates. Jude tells us ter fight fer the faith we share"

One of the crew raises his hand. "Ah . . . sir, what faith be that?"

"Aye, excellent question Patch-Eye Pete. In Mark 11:22, Jesus says, 'You 'ave faith from Skipper.' This faith, Skipper's faith, be called 'the most holy faith' in Jude 20. It be the faith that moves mountains, heals the sick, and raises the dead. It boldly preaches Skipper's word and strengthens us when we face persecution."

The crew murmurs in agreement.

"Jude speaks of three groups," he continues. "The Ungodly, the Saved, and Believers. Now, the Ungodly be enemies of Skipper, you may lay ter that. I fear certain ungodly men may 'ave slipped in among this crew, perverting Skipper's grace and turning Skipper's love and mercy inter a license to act with all sensuality. And by thunder, I fear it be true."

"What be sensuality, sir?"

"Why that be another excellent question, Long John Larry. Sensuality be living by our senses and placing more faith in what can see, hear, feel, taste, and touch than what Skipper's Good Word says."

More murmuring ripples among crew.

"Skipper looks fer willing hearts that wish ter listen and learn, not debate and dither."

The crew nods, listening intently.

"Ungodly men who seek ter sow mutiny among Skip's crew, 'ill always appeal ter the desires of yer flesh, you may lay ter that. In seeking ter gratify our flesh we deny the Son. Men I give you this charge: fight fer the faith Skipper gives us through His Spirit. If we 'ill do that, we 'ill not be snared in his traps."

The crew looks at each other, determined.

"Now, me hearties, let's keep our eyes on the Son and keep a weather eye out fer those who would steer us off course and wreck our faith."

"Sir, does this mean we can go ashore now?"

"Aye! The first round be on Loose Lips Larry, here, fer being the first ter bring up shore leave. Ter the grog shop, men, and be quick about it!"
