Learning expands skills and knowledge as part of a continuous self-improvement process. As an educator, I cannot overemphasize the importance of continuity. Strangely enough, things change so quickly that learning is a lifeline when it comes to protecting infrastructure and security. For example, researchers Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge completed a study analyzing "procedure directories which operate along with process frameworks to allow procedural parameterization of the fundamental system processes for building, comparing, and retrieving memory structures. " Their technique is to discover source files under Git (root) control and track the differences between the working directory and the local repository, and between the local repository and (any) remote repository. Their analytics are the core memory structures compiled in the root configuration. These are complicated measures in computers systems but in human behavior and thought we process faster. According to Science Focus Magazine, it's estimated that the human beings' sensory stimuli is experienced lasting only 50 milliseconds (about 1/20th of a second). That's how fast we think, process and learn. And now some of the most famous thinkers are building a computing infrastructure that can compute faster than humans. Can we control human learning? As the AI Sector Security and Security Board (AISSB) develops recommendations to help critical infrastructure stakeholders, such as transportation service providers, pipeline and power grid operators, and internet service providers, use AI technology more responsibly, the question is whether this body of guardians and lawmakers will respond adequately. Our own security supports and can be controlled by the human learning process. So, what about the process of computer learning? Well, from humans to computers, let's keep learning and keep trying.
