BETHLEHEM, Pa. - June 24, 2024 - PRLog -- Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS) announced its lineup of events and activities for July 2024, including the Blueberry Festival, "Checking In? Bethlehem's Alluring Accommodations," Saturdays at Burnside, Free Sundays at the Museums, and six historic tours.

"We are looking forward to a packed slate of summer events for visitors looking for fun with a historical twist," said LoriAnn Wukitsch, HBMS's president and CEO.

This year's Blueberry Festival & Market To Go is on July 13 and 14 at Burnside Colonial Farm. Tickets are $5 for children and $10 for adults. The Blueberry Festival Family Pack and Brewery Pass are $27 each.

Checking In? Bethlehem's Alluring Accommodations explores Bethlehem's long hospitality legacy, taking attendees to the Moravian Museum, the Kemerer Museum, and the Sun Inn. For guests over 21, Checking In Combo Tickets are available for $30, which provide event admission, a self-guided tour and a Christmas City Spirits sampling experience at the Sun Inn, including a complimentary glass. Admission for all ages can be purchased at https://www.historicbethlehem.org/.

This month's free Saturdays at Burnside experience, "Make Your Own Bee Hotel," is on July 6 from 10 am to 12 pm. Guests can participate in "You Point, We Pick," allowing them to select and take home plants from the Burnside Colonial Garden in exchange for a donation.

Free Sundays at the Museums, funded partly by the Jones Children Fund, provides visitors with admission to the Kemerer Museum and the Moravian Museum from 11 am to 5 pm on the first Sunday of each month through November. The July 7 program features activities for the family. Sponsored partly by Macaroni KID, future program dates are 9/1, 10/6 and 11/3 (August is omitted due to ArtsQuest Muskifest activities throughout Bethlehem's historic district).

HBMS is running six tours this month: Old Bethlehem Walking Tour, Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel Walking Tour, John Adams Walking Tour, Moravian Stories Tour, Heart & Soul: Moravian Music Tour, and Playful Pathways: A Family-Friendly Tour of Bethlehem. Tours will not be available on July 13 and 14 because of the Blueberry Festival.
