New Walking Guide Celebrates The Llyn Peninsula

PWLLHELI, Wales - July 1, 2024 - PRLog -- Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts, a multi-award winning boutique glamping retreat based just outside the seaside town of Pwllheli, has teamed up with respected travel writer Julie Brominicks to create a new hiking guide to some of the best walks on the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales.

'Everyone is familiar with Snowdonia / Yr Wyddfa, but there is so much more to North Wales', enthused Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts co-owner Mark Barrow. 'Which is why we're thrilled to have worked in collaboration with Julie Brominicks to produce our fantastic new guide 'Pen Llyn Walks: The Collection''.

'Pen Llyn Walks: The Collection' is a beautifully illustrated step-by-step guide to five curated walks in and around the Llyn Peninsula, taking in not only stunning coastal scenes and epic landscapes, but also important historical landmarks.

'It was very important to us that we gave some historical context as well as producing a practical guide to take people off the beaten track', continued Mark.

Julie Brominicks is the author of 'The Edge of Cymru' (Seren Books, 2022), an alternative travelogue detailing her journey around Wales over the course of a year. As her walk unwinds, the history of Wales is also unwound, from the twenty-first century back to pre-human times, often viewed through an environmental lens. By sharing her passion for the landscape, people, wildlife, culture and language, Julie aims to reinvigorate an appreciation for slow and sustainable travel.
