Supreme Court Ruling on Homelessness — What Happens When You Help Those In Need May Surprise You

RALEIGH, N.C. - July 2, 2024 - PRLog -- The recent Supreme Court ruling allows cities to enforce laws prohibiting public camping and sleeping, even when no shelter is available. This ruling is an opportunity for believers in Christ to address homelessness with compassion rather than look to the government or city authorities for solutions.

As Christians ("belonging to Christ"), we can respond with love and support for our neighbors in need. A monthly donation of $25 can place someone in a motel, giving them a safe place to sleep and preventing encounters with law enforcement.
