Playing for a Win in The Fifth Quarter

ALAMEDA, Calif. - July 4, 2024 - PRLog -- I have a saying and it goes like this, " if you can't laugh you won't make the cut." I grew up watching and playing sports. As a kid it was all about football, basketball and baseball. I even ran a 400 meter dash in a junior high track meet. I played football in junior high school, and wrestled my freshman year in high school. I enjoyed sports and while I was never really good or talented I usually put in so much work and effort I would be given an opportunity, and that is how it worked for me. The point here is hard work may not always pay off, but it will present opportunity when folks notice, and folks do notice. Now lets take it from the top.  Part of putting in the work means putting in the right attitude, and being willing to work or keep a smile on your face no matter how difficult or challenging situations may be. I was never the fastest, tallest, quickest, strongest, or smartest,  but I really was always willing to put in the effort, I kept smiling, and moving forward. The title for this post refers to playing football in junior high. The fifth quarter was for guys to get an opportunity to play and develop, I didn't even start in the fifth quarter, but I still gave it a try. I know this is a short blog post, but I want to get this started. I'd also like to share a link to a video of a Comedian I often watch and listen to Owen Benjamin on Rumble (https://rumble.com/v54yaoj-owen-benjamin-livestream-mon-f...).Starting in The Fifith Quarter (https://justreelnaround.blogspot.com/2024/07/starting-in-...)
