The number of new travel jobs being made available fell slightly at the start of the summer, according to the latest figures from C&M Travel Recruitment. The total fell by a small two per cent from May 2024 and by 26 per cent from last June. Similarly, the number of new candidates searching for new jobs in the travel industry fell back by 22 per cent last month after reaching a 2024-high in May. June's total number was also down by 11 per cent from the same month in 2023. There was also a decrease in the number of people being placed in new travel jobs, with a 27 per cent month-on-month fall and a 35 per cent dip compared to June 2023.
