Coimbatore Resident Demands Accountability After Receiving Damaged Gaming Cabinet and Facing Amazon's Customer Support Fiasco
 
COIMBATORE, India - July 15, 2024 - PRLog -- Vengatesan, a resident of Coimbatore, recently expressed deep frustration and disappointment with Amazon's customer support after receiving a damaged Artis G8325 Computer Gaming Cabinet.

On July 9, 2024, Vengatesan eagerly received his order from Amazon, only to find upon opening the package that the gaming cabinet was dented at the bottom corner. Concerned about the product's condition, he promptly reached out to Amazon Customer Support through both phone calls and online chat.

"In my two attempts via phone, I was promised assistance and told to expect a follow-up on July 15. However, no such contact was made," Vengatesan stated. "During my subsequent call, I was kept on hold for a significant amount of time and then abruptly disconnected without resolution."

Turning to Amazon's chat support, Vengatesan encountered further frustration as he was denied help without a clear explanation. "The chat support agent refused to disclose the policy under which my claim was rejected and abruptly ended the conversation," he added.

Despite persistent efforts to seek clarification through additional phone calls, Vengatesan was met with a blanket denial without a valid reason provided. "I feel utterly let down by Amazon's handling of this issue. My ₹3,149.00 has essentially gone to waste on a damaged product that I cannot use," he expressed.

The incident has taken a toll on Vengatesan personally, affecting his peace of mind and raising serious doubts about Amazon's customer service standards. "This entire ordeal has left me not only out of pocket but also deeply frustrated. It's become a distraction from my daily life," he lamented.

In light of these challenges, Vengatesan is seeking a refund from Amazon and urges them to conduct a thorough inquiry into the handling of his order by the seller or delivery personnel.

"I hope Amazon takes this matter seriously and learns from this experience to improve their customer support practices," Vengatesan concluded.
