Primrose Schools of The Woodlands and Spring Awards Scholarships to 9 Families

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - July 18, 2024 - PRLog -- Each year a scholarship committee is formed to evaluate each candidate. Through a rigorous and detailed process, the committee has selected 9 families to award this year.

The Scholarship Program began back in 2014 and since then, the McLaughlin's have given over $200,000 in scholarships. Giving back to the community has always been a top priority to Don and Arlena, along with providing the best education and care for children and their families.

"Our family believes in the importance of building a strong foundation for early learning and providing the best quality childcare services in our area. 23 years ago, we knew the success of Primrose would allow our family opportunities to give back to our community.  What better way to give back than providing scholarships to families who may need tuition assistance? Each May our schools accept applications that may be picked up at any of our seven locations.

Our scholarship selection committee is made up of our family, leadership, and school support members. We notify families in May of the deadline and award the scholarships in July. Giving back is what we teach our students even at a preschool age. This scholarship program is another differentiator of our schools."  - Arlena McLaughlin
