Sunshine Ace Hardware to host 'Monster Night' on Aug. 15 at Largo store

LARGO, Fla. - July 24, 2024 - PRLog -- Sunshine Ace Hardware in Largo is hosting a family-friendly Monster Night on Aug. 15 that features food, fun and fabulous deals.

Presented by Sunshine Ace Hardware and The Original Super Glue, Monster Night includes photo opportunities with a monster truck, monster deals inside the store and fresh-off-the-grill barbecue samples.

Guests at Monster Night who donate $5 to Children's Miracle Network will receive a specially marked five-gallon bucket that they can use as a shopping basket, earning a 20% discount on nearly everything they can fit inside. Donations will support Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg through a partnership with Children's Miracle Network that helps cover the costs of patient services for children and families, charitable care for patients lacking sufficient funds or insurance, and education programs for patients, families and the community. Donations also allow hospitals to purchase life-saving equipment and provide advancement services for innovative programs and projects.

"Monster Night will be a great opportunity to get up close and personal with a monster truck, enjoy some hot barbecue and score some great deals," said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. "We always tie a charitable cause into our community events, and our hope is that a big crowd translates into a big donation for Children's Miracle Network."

Since declaring Children's Miracle Network as its primary charitable partner in December 2019, Sunshine Ace Hardware has raised $392,774 through a series of fundraising campaigns and initiatives.

Monster Night runs from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15 at Sunshine Ace Hardware, 1015 W. Bay Drive in Largo.
