Danielle Marie Launches Long-Awaited "Love's Got You Now" Album

TAMPA, Fla. - July 26, 2024 - PRLog -- Singer, songwriter, piano player Danielle Marie's "Love's Got You Now" album releases today, available immediately on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and numerous other online digital retailers and platforms.  The title track is the first single from the eight-song release.

"These songs were actually written a good ways back, but I've always known they'd get released," she explained.  "And I've been flattered that people have asked me for original music.  It never frustrated me because it wasn't the right time.  But I really do feel like it was all on God's time.  I'm in a season of life where it's time for them to be out."

While Contemporary Christian is designated as the primary genre, Pop is second, but a close second.  Danielle Marie says, "For me these all have Christian undertones, and that's why I wrote them the way they are.  Christian is a hair above Pop.  While there are some tracks that have a religious message to them, there are some songs on the album that I can't say that about.  They just are not in the Christian category.  Yet, all eight fit together nicely to give the album a really nice feel."

A resident of Greenville, South Carolina, Danielle Marie co-wrote with Matthew Edwards and Marlon Smith, and the project was recorded in Tampa, Florida.  Mix in her originally having been from Pittsburgh and you see the picture of a 'military brat.'

As for the album's title track, she points out that, "Love is God, but love in the secular sense is also love.  Essentially, it's about falling down, stumbling in life, and getting back up.  For some people it's just motivation, but for me it's God's always got you and He won't let you carry it alone.  He's going to be there; He's going to save you.  That's the faith that I have, the undertone, but love could be anybody in your life.  Love could be anyone in your life that's going to keep you going."
