HOUSTON - July 27, 2024 - PRLog -- Revolution Soccer Complex is thrilled to announce that we are actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Academy Director to join our management team. As a premier destination for soccer enthusiasts in Houston, we are looking for a dynamic individual who will lead our soccer academy to new heights.

Job Summary:
The Academy Director oversees the management, growth, and quality of the RevKids Academy programs at Revolution Soccer Complex. This role requires a dynamic leader with experience in youth soccer development, program management, and customer service. The Academy Director will manage a team of coaches and various youth programs, ensuring high-quality training and athlete development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Management and Leadership:
- Manage Staff: Oversee, develop, and hold coaching staff accountable.
- Evaluation: Conduct bi-annual coach evaluations based on performance.
- Coach Development: Implement a comprehensive coach development platform, including meetings, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and education opportunities.
- Player/League/Tournament Placements: Approve player placements, league participation, and tournament selections.
- Scheduling: Approve and optimize seasonal program schedules.

2. Program Oversight and Development:
- Soccer Performance: Oversee soccer performance, including results and developmental goals.
- Standards and Processes: Develop and maintain soccer standards, processes, and playbooks.
- Coach Recruitment: Recruit and assign coaches to ensure a high-quality staff.
- Player Recruitment: Oversee player identification and recruitment processes.

3. Strategic Planning and Growth:
- Registration Forecast: Develop annual registration forecasts and set growth targets.
- Marketing: Promote Academy programs in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Coach Development: Schedule education opportunities for continuous coach growth.

4. Customer Service and Community Engagement:
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure outstanding customer service and build positive relationships.
- Community Outreach: Engage in efforts to attract new players and coaches.

Requirements:
- Minimum USSF B License (or foreign equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 plus years in a similar senior leadership capacity within youth soccer
- Comprehensive understanding of the US youth soccer landscape
- Full and Clean Driving License
- US Working Visa / Citizenship / Permanent Residency

Preferred:
- Degree in a Related Field
- 5 plus years as a Club / Academy Director within US youth soccer
- USSF A Youth License (or foreign equivalent)
- Bilingual Spanish / English (fluency in both languages preferred)
