Amelia Ray, Buggy Jive, Andrea Wittgens and Rachel Lee Walsh to perform at the Barn of Earthly Delights on Sunday August 4th

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY –– 1 August 2024 –– Painter Margaret Clark opens her Barn of Earthly Delights to the public on Sunday August 4th, 2024 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. for an afternoon of art, communion and music with performances by Buggy Jive, Rachel Lee Walsh, Amelia Ray and Andrea Wittgens.

Clark, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area is a long-time resident of New York City and the Catskill Mountains who holds a BFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder. The images she uses in her paintings are sourced from photographs. By combining disparate images, she paints unique composite landscapes in a semi-photorealistic style integrating multiple perspectives, distorted scale and odd pairings of subject matter.

Attendees will be able to view Clark's paintings while enjoying musical performances from singer-songwriters Rachel Lee Walsh, Buggy Jive, Andrea Wittgens and Amelia Ray. Ray is a touring soul-rock singer-songwriter, who was recently invited to appear at the National Women's Music Festival in Madison, WI. NYC-based Wittgens will be presenting songs from her highly anticipated new full-length album which was recorded with LA/Joshua Tree producer Ainjel Emme (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kim Gordon). Buggy Jive is a soul rock singer-songwriter with literary leanings from Albany who recently opened for Macy Gray, and whose song "Don't Quit Your Day Job" was selected as a Tiny Desk "Top Shelf" featured submission. Kingston-based Walsh leads The Rosemary Jazz Band and is a member of the "Key of Q" a capella chorus.
