smarTour Announces New CEO Joe Robinson

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Aug. 6, 2024 - PRLog -- Nashville, TN - smarTours, a leading provider of group tours, has appointed Joe Robinson as its new Chief Executive Officer. With a wealth of experience and a deep passion for travel, Robinson has announced plans to grow smarTours by hiring additional staff in tour operations, marketing and finance. He will also relaunch destinations such as China and Australia, open a new Nashville office, and oversee the launch of strategic partnerships, including Exito and Uplift.

Robinson joins smarTours from Indie Campers, where he served as Managing Director of North America & Oceania. Prior to that, his previous roles include Chief Growth Officer at RocketRez, Senior Vice President at Big Bus Tours, and positions as Product Sales Manager and Group Leader at Intrepid Travel.

"My journey to this role began years ago as an adventure tour guide, where I fell in love with sharing the world's wonders with travelers.
