Layher Twixbeam in stage construction for Max Korzh concerts

BUCHAREST, Romania - Aug. 11, 2024 - PRLog -- At the end of June 2024, JSA, as part of the summer stage tour, carried out two stagings for stadium concerts by Max Korzh. The popular artist's performances took place in Prague (Fortuna Arena) and Tallinn (A. Le Coq Arena). The JSA team also managed the production of the technical part of the events. As last year for Max Korzh's concert in Riga, the stage structure used Layher TwixBeam strong elements.

This was a special engineering development by JSA to meet all the requirements related to the technical parameters and conditions of the stage design concept. Layher TwixBeam were installed on top of the side and central support "walls" to suspend the LED screens, which occupied the entire front side of the interior under the stage roof. Twenty Layher TwixBeams of 3.60 meters in length were used for this.

A feature of this year's stage design were cantilevered outriggers for hanging sound linear arrays weighing more than four tons. The extension length from the front was over three and a half meters. The original structure was assembled from standard Layher Allround elements, including Lattice Beam trusses. However the main power element for rigging in this case was the 6.60 meter long Layher TwixBeam.

In addition, eight 2.60-metre long Layher TwixBeams were used to create the bases for the installation of the supporting columns of the stage roof system. The use of robust aluminium power beams allows for the quick and easy creation of base platform locations at the same level, with the possibility of installing roof towers at the desired points.

The use of TwixBeam elements has become a signature feature of JSA since the spring of 2023. At that time, these products from the Layher plant began to appear in the construction sector, but the JSA team immediately saw the great potential of these elements for use in temporary structures for the concert and event industry.
