Goodwill hosts Grand Opening of new Cape Coral store

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Aug. 15, 2024 - PRLog -- Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida (SWFL) announced the Grand Opening of their new store in West Cape Coral at 1499 S.W. Pine Island Road. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will commence at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024, with the doors opening to customers immediately afterward. The first 100 customers will receive a $10 Goodwill gift card.

The new store is an addition to the current Goodwill stores in Cape Coral helping to serve the growing community in west Cape Coral and along the Burnt Store corridor. There will be a Goodwill Community Resource Center co-located within the new store providing services to the community. These free services include: digital skills training, resume writing and job search assistance, employability workshops, English as a Second Language classes, and more.

There will be an Open House at the Community Resource Center during the Grand Opening. The public is invited to stop in to learn more about Goodwill services and classes.
