Sacral Capital Prepares to Launch a $110M VC-PE Fund, Elevates Key Team Members, & Invites Women In

MIAMI - Aug. 16, 2024 - PRLog -- Sacral Capital, a growth advisory firm founded in August 2022 by Brandi Kolosky, today announced the official launch of Sacral Fund I, a hybrid venture capital and private equity fund targeting a $110 million raise. This fund represents the culmination of 12 months of strategic planning by Ms. Kolosky and aims to invest in ventures that seek to reform broken systems and are diversity-led. Term sheets with committed allocations have been signed across various industries, including data centers, bitcoin mining, wasted energy, low-orbit fiber optics manufacturing, agriculture, and precision farming technology.

Sacral Capital is also announcing significant promotions within its leadership team. Autumn Bennett, previously Growth Manager, has been promoted to Operating Partner. Ms. Bennett, who became the first female investor in Sacral Fund I following the successful sale of her family's 47-year-old logistics, storage, and moving company, Minorcan, brings extensive experience in operations and finance. Her new role will include overseeing the operations of both Sacral Capital and Sacral Fund I.

Additionally, Elliot Watts has been welcomed as the firm's Investment Principal. Mr. Watts holds degrees from Yale University, Columbia Law School, and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Licensed to practice law in New York and Georgia and holding FINRA Licenses Series 79 and 63, Mr. Watts will contribute his expertise in finance, law, and market analysis to the firm's investment strategies. His role is expected to evolve into that of Chief Investment Officer of Sacral Fund I.
