ARIA releases detailed analysis of Complaints on SEBI SCORES Platform & Analysis of enforcement

MUMBAI, India - Aug. 21, 2024 - PRLog -- ARIA carried out a detailed analysis of all complaints received against Registered Investment Advisers on SEBI's SCORES platform. ARIA also commissioned Sanjay Kadel & Co. to provide an analysis of all enforcement orders passed by SEBI against Investment advisory firms since inception till March 31,2024.

Summary of the reports and brief analysis is given below.

Section I
1) Complaints against RIAs since inception

Analysis:
65% of the complaints are against RIAs who have already surrendered their licenses or whose licenses have lapsed

2) Analysis of complaints received against RIAs who continue to be registered

Analysis:
74% of the RIAs have no complaints received at all since inception.
10% of the RIAs account for 94% of the complaints

3) Analysis of activities of RIAs receiving more than double digit complaints

Analysis:
Trading Call provider entities constitute 68% of such entities and account for 73% of all such complaints
