Houston, TX - Suckafree Records, Inc. has officially filed a lawsuit against Exotic Pop, LLC, including its C.E.O. Charleston Wilson, for copyright infringement. On June 14, 2024, the lawsuit was initiated in Houston, TX, after Suckafree Records discovered that its proprietary content was being unlawfully utilized and sold nationwide and internationally without consent by Exotic Pop in various online platforms and advertisements.

In January 2024, Suckafree Records identified that Exotic Pop, LLC had created merchandise resembling their album cover and was selling songs through third parties, undermining Suckafree's intellectual property rights. Exotic Pop further exacerbated the infringement by integrating QR codes on consumables, directing potential buyers to purchase songs from unauthorized sites, and vending machines that displayed the Suckafree Records artwork and graphics.
The lawsuit highlights that Exotic Pop has been capitalizing on Suckafree's distinct branding across a broad range of products, including bottled drinks, cereals, and other consumables, thereby profiting from the unauthorized use of Suckafree's likeness and wording.
