Dogs Inc Receives Generous Gift from 2024 Bezos Courage and Civility Award Funding

PALMETTO, Fla. - Aug. 27, 2024 - PRLog -- Dogs Inc is receiving a $150,000 donation from retired U.S. Navy Four-Star Admiral William McRaven, recipient of the 2024 Bezos Courage & Civility Award, presented by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and fiancée Lauren Sánchez.

Dogs Inc places guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs with veterans and others throughout the United States at no cost to the recipients.

After a career commanding special operations and advising presidents on national defense issues, McRaven now spends his time supporting veterans and the children of fallen soldiers. This heartfelt gift will continue to bring hope and healing to veterans and their families through the loyal love and support of highly skilled dogs.
