Third Annual Back to School Bash

NEW YORK - Aug. 27, 2024 - PRLog -- Come to Read It and Leave It's Third Annual Back-to School Bash focused on preparing youth and families for the academic season by celebrating the beginning of the school year. Enjoy hot food, fresh produce, free backpacks (designing with local artist) and school supplies, author readings, book & toy giveaways, hair braiding, haircuts and more!

In partnership with Harlem Grown's Culture, Creativity and Care initiative we are bringing all the family vibes to Marcus Garvey Park, Saturday August 31st from 1pm to 4pm. Entrance on 122nd Street Madison Avenue.

Hot food provided by Black Chef Movement, Produce provided by Sharing Excess. Local artist will customize backpacks and be designing shirts with the youth. Two author readings and book signings in addition to additional books and toys being given away. Haircuts provided by Harlem's Finest. Hair braiding provided by Aligned Wire with crystal hair accessories.
