Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, Shimoda Lab, and MotusAcademy Sign MOU

DOWNTOWN, Singapore - Sept. 2, 2024 - PRLog -- Nagoya, Japan, and Zurich, Switzerland – 03.09.2204 – Tokai National Higher Education and Research System, Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, Shimoda Lab, and MotusAcademy are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The MOU was signed by Prof Shingo Shimoda, representing Nagoya University, and Zen KOH, founder and CEO of MotusAcademy, and was witnessed by Prof Denny Oetomo from the University of Melbourne.

Prof Shingo Shimoda said, "This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our efforts to advance medical research and healthcare technology."

The key areas of cooperation include:

• Symposia and Conferences: Organising symposia, conferences, short courses, webinars, seminars, workshops, and meetings on technology and research.
• Information Exchange: Sharing information on teaching, professional development, and research institutions developments.
• Expert Collaboration: Nagoya University will propose and invite relevant experts to join MotusAcademy's educational and community programs.

Zen KOH, founder and CEO of MotusAcademy, and President and Ambassador of IISART, has held significant positions at Shanghai Fourier Intelligence and Zurich Hocoma. His expertise in medical technology and rehabilitation services has been instrumental in setting new standards in the field.

Denny Oetomo, a professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Melbourne, researches human-robot interaction and teaches subjects in robotics, mechatronics design, and control systems.

Shingo Shimoda, Designated Professor at Tokai National Higher Education and Research System, Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, has substantially contributed to robotics and neurorehabilitation.
