Thiruvananthapuram: The shared vision and goal of developing Kerala's capital city has brought Thiruvananthapuram Kombans and Adani together, with the latter coming onboard as the Title Sponsor.
A formal announcement to this effect was made here today, marking the start of a three-year-long association between the two.
Thiruvananthapuram Kombans, co-owned by a score of investors from health, technology and hospitality sectors, besides former players, is South Kerala's only professional football club, and one of the six franchises under Super League Kerala.

The Kombans have chosen the medium of sports, especially football, to bring about a transformation of the city, with a long-term goal to also promote sports beyond cricket.

Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd., (APSEZL) which is developing India's first Mega Transhipment Container Terminal at Vizhinjam in Thiruvananthapuram, will anchor the partnership with Kombans.
