The YMCA of Central New Mexico celebrates diversity and belonging during annual Welcoming Week

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Sept. 9, 2024 - PRLog -- Welcoming Week kicks off a nine-day celebration on September 13th in Albuquerque, NM. The YMCA of Central New Mexico will join Welcoming America, other organizations, and YMCAs across the country to celebrate Welcoming Week, September 13-22. Each year, Welcoming Week elevates the growing movement of communities that fully embrace new Americans and their contributions to the social fabric of our country.

This celebration is an opportunity for neighbors – both immigrants and US-born residents – to get to know one another and celebrate what unites us as a community. In Albuquerque, the YMCA of Central New Mexico will host a series of group classes, activities, an international potluck and offer zero joining fees.
