2nd Annual SecureMaine Conference is October 3rd in Portland, Maine

SecureMaine, a 501(c)3 non-profit established by a collaboration of security-related nonprofits, returns for the 2nd annual SecureMaine Conference in Portland Maine. SecureMaine 2024 seeks improve regional cybersecurity capacity by bringing leading experts, CIO and CISO executives, practitioners, and community members together for educational sessions and networking, to support the Maine security community and improve security regionally.

PORTLAND, Maine - Sept. 11, 2024 - PRLog -- The 2nd annual SecureMaine Conference, organized by SecureMaine, a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit, will take place Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Italian Heritage Center event facility, 40 Westland Avenue, Portland, Maine. Attendance fees are: $30 Early Rate through 9/22/24, $40 Advance Rate, and $50 on the Event Day (space permitting). Student / Veteran discounts available. Attendance includes breakfast refreshments, lunch, afternoon snack, and limited parking (first come, first serve). Registration is online at https://www.securemaine.org

This full day conference covers information security issues as they relate to technology, governance, and architecture, and finishes with a roundtable discussion featuring CISOs / CIOs / CIPOs. The SecureMaine Conference content includes both cybersecurity and physical security. Up to 8 security CPEs are available depending on an attendee's continuing education path.

Attendees are likely to come from New England, mostly from Maine and nearby states. Constituents include individuals and organizations sending security professionals looking to enhance their cybersecurity, physical security, and privacy protection strategies.

Presenters will include national experts, government agencies, relevant organizations, technologists, lawyers, consultants, strategists, and policy makers at national and local levels. Many of these collaborating organizations will be represented at the event.
