Tejjy successfully added two notable projects to its construction administration expertise

Preserving History for the Library of Congress John Adams Building

The John Adams Building project at the Library of Congress posed a special challenge since it combined the preservation of a historically significant building with the construction of a cutting-edge, handicapped-accessible audio recording studio. Tejjy deployed Leica's 3D laser scanners to precisely capture the building's geometry. And then a point cloud to Revit model flow to produce an extremely precise 3D model (LOD 300). The team effectively integrated MEP models and architectural drawings to ensure precise design coordination.

By incorporating inclusive design principles, Tejjy ensured audio recording studio design was accessible to all. This enhanced the building's use by blind or visually challenged people.

Renovation of State-of-the-Art Medical Testing Facilities

For this project, Tejjy provided design-build services (https://www.tejjy.com/our-services/architectural-engineer...) for the development of Anylab Medical Testing Facilities in Manassas. The 1,476-square-foot contemporary building has many state-of-the-art labs that are intended to improve community healthcare offerings.

Tejjy worked on start-to-end design, permitting, and construction administration for this project. The project faced a tight 6-month deadline, but a BIM approach was used for a functional, aesthetically pleasing design and streamlined permitting. The project improved healthcare accessibility and quality for locals.

The project was completed on schedule and within budget, contributing to the expansion of accessible local healthcare.
