THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Sept. 24, 2024 - PRLog -- Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing how companies do business. With Generative AI, 50% of today's business activities could be automated 10 years earlier than previously estimated, research suggests. It will likely affect hours, tasks and responsibilities for workers across wage rates and educational backgrounds. Already, organizations using ChatGPT report that tasks are completed 25% faster and with more than 40% higher-quality results. To help companies adapt to the new AI reality, on Oct. 10 the School of Management at California Lutheran University will present "AI in the Workplace: Navigating Challenges and Embracing Opportunities." The 9th annual Executive Talent Management Forum event will bring together academic speakers and industry leaders to explore how AI has altered the many facets of management. The event will be from 8 a.m. -1 p.m. on the Cal Lutheran campus.

Panel moderator Susan Lundeen, chief people officer, Allogene Therapeutics, will explore best practices for incorporating AI with panelists Shafia Hayek, vice president of HR and admin technology, PennyMac Loan Services; Chris Meissner, president, Meissner Corporation (USA); and Andrew Powers, Thousand Oaks city manager.

He will focus on how to prepare organizations for an AI-enabled future by upskilling employees, maintaining a positive workplace culture, protecting intellectual property and guiding the initial stages of AI adoption, particularly in talent management and decision-making processes.
