Denver, CO – The Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024 Jeff Henson Memorial Scholarship, awarded during the 2024 CSA Conference in August. These scholarships honor individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving the lives of older adults.

Emily Murtha, from Boston, Massachusetts, pursuing a Master's in Management of Aging Services at the University of Massachusetts Boston, was awarded a $5,000 scholarship for her dedication to senior care.

Judith Page O'Flaherty, from Star, Idaho, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a diverse background in military service and healthcare advocacy, and Stephanie Witt, from Ruskin, Florida, a healthcare management professional and founder of "A Guiding Hand for Seniors," each received $1,500 scholarships.

The Jeff Henson Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Jeff Henson, a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) who was deeply committed to continuing education and advancing the care of older adults. Jeff believed in the importance of lifelong learning and professional development in the senior care industry, inspiring the creation of this scholarship to support individuals who share his passion.
